I know I haven't updated in a while, y'all, but it's been because I'm now so busy with high school and such! I don't think it's as hard and scary as I thought it would be, but it is definitely different. Also, some very exciting news: my cousin Hilary is pregnant! She's 6 weeks along, so... she has some way to go. She's due in April. Also, her sister Whitney has her wedding this weekend! Me, my mom, and my sister went shopping yesterday for outfits (I needed 2: 1 for the rehearsal dinner, and 1 for the wedding); I got 1. It's a black skirt with a cream-colored bow tied around it, then I found a very pretty cream-colored tank top, and I'm probably gonna wear a black poncho over it. I don't know what I'm gonna wear for the wedding, though. There was an alright pink skirt, but it was pretty short, plus I couldn't find a good shirt to go with it that had sleeves! My sister got some cool skirts in another part of the store, so I might check those out today, while me and my grandma go back to get the stupid sale clerk to take off that thing that has the ink in it. Hot Topic also opened a few weeks ago; I got a Sirius Black shirt, a Rainbow Brite shirt, a Tinkerbell notebook, and a bunch of pins that I planned to put on my backpack, but they kept falling off... what a waste of money. I have today off, by the way. All the public schools around here do... it's student inservice. But the teachers claim it's for the seniors to paint the "Senior Wall". Oh, and by the way... band is cool, but sometimes people can be so mean! No really, I was just trying to kick a whole in the practice field we were marching on, and Ashley told me not to, even though I had done it a zillion times, and everyone does it too! Plus, how else am I supposed to mark my stupid spot?! Oh my god, I really don't wanna go back to school tomorrow. It sucks. I cannot wait till I graduate, and can live on my own... or at least till I can drive! (that's 10 months and 1 week, by the way) But anyway, that's pretty much all that's been happening... my life's kinda dull right now. But oh well! So yeah... I'll try to update next week, maybe tell about the wedding. Bye!~
